 1. The video-obsessed Martijn ... pays a surprise visit to his sister ... on the day of her 20th birthday. As soon becomes apparent, Martijn has a bit of a chip on his shoulder -- probably something to do with his incestuous lust for his kid sis when she was just nine years old. Seen in frequent flashbacks, it's unclear what their relationship was really like as children, or even who wanted what -- or whom. Over the course of an hour and a half, we are invited to somewhat relive the past, and figure out this twisted bit of history.
2. After several years without contact, Martijn visits his sister Daantje, who just started to live on her own in Amsterdam. He tells her he is going to make a documentary from her life, and enters her home live with a video camera. This creates tension between Daantje and her brother because he wants to recall something that happened between them in the past. To keep Martijn at a distance, Daantje starts a relationship with Ramon, but Martijn gets between them. He manages to talk to her so that she remembers the things that happened when they were kids. This helps him to overcome his obsession for his sister, and after playing over their history, he is finally able to see her without the video camera like he did during the course of the movie.

 Die Serie spielt in München und handelt von Kindern, die in ihrer Umgebung zunächst keine Spielmöglichkeiten finden. Der freundliche Besitzer eines Sperrmüll-Lagers – von den Kindern später liebevoll „Opa Krempel“ genannt (gespielt von dem damals keineswegs alten Hannes Gromball) – lässt sie auf sein Grundstück und hilft ihnen dabei, eine Art Abenteuerspielplatz aufzubauen. Dieser Ort bekommt den Namen „Krempoli“ (wegen des vielen Krempels, der dort herumliegt) und wird zu einem Lebensmittelpunkt der Kinder. Die Nachbarn sind jedoch spießig und den Behörden ist das Treiben ein Dorn im Auge. So erleben die Kinder allerlei Abenteuer, müssen ihren „Platz für wilde Kinder“ verteidigen, und hecken darüber hinaus allerlei Streiche aus. In der letzten Folge wird der Krempoli von Baggern abgerissen.Krempoli steht zweifellos in der Tradition von Filmen wie Pippi Langstrumpf (hier allerdings ohne das phantastische Element) und ist überdies ein typisches Produkt der 1970er-Jahre: Es ging darum, die Interessen der Kinder gegenüber den Interessen der Erwachsenen zu emanzipieren. Während die Erwachsenen größtenteils als egoistisch und trottelig dargestellt werden (mit Ausnahme einiger Sympathieträger), handeln die Kinder untereinander solidarisch und interessieren sich auch für die Bedürfnisse ihrer Umwelt. In ihrer Spontaneität und Kreativität sind sie den Erwachsenen überlegen, so dass sie bei Auseinandersetzungen - trotz vermeintlich schwächerer Position - häufig als Sieger hervorgehen.
